FAQ

Can I use Peanut as a tourist?+

Yes. Peanut accepts passports and national IDs from any country. You do not need a local ID, bank account, or phone number. This makes it especially useful for tourists and digital nomads in Argentina and Brazil.

Which countries have no transaction limits?+

The US, Europe (SEPA zone), and Mexico have no hard limits. Transactions above $100,000 may trigger additional review but are not blocked.

What is the limit in Latin America?+

$2,000 USD per month, combining bank deposits, withdrawals, QR payments, and ATM withdrawals. Crypto is not counted. The limit can be increased by submitting additional documentation.

Can I deposit in GBP or other currencies?+

Yes for GBP — UK users can deposit and withdraw GBP via Faster Payments (sort code + account number, seconds, 24/7/365). UK users can also deposit EUR via SEPA. Other currencies (PLN, SEK, CHF, etc.) are EUR-only on SEPA today; multi-currency SEPA deposits are on the roadmap.

Do I need to verify for crypto?+

No. Crypto deposits and withdrawals require no verification and have no limits.
